The script consisted of four Locations: Junkyard, City Streets Upper, City Streets Lower, and Train. There was both an all white and multi-colored script for actors and game devs to follow.
green is Location

JUNKYARD:
EXT. JUNKYARD: INTRO - 7PM
WIDE SHOT
START FROM THE LEFT SHOWCASING ENVIRONMENTAL LOOK, THEN TRANSITION TO A MEDIUM SHOT SHOWING THE PLAYER'S NORMAL FRAME (HOW THE CAMERA IS SET THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE GAMEPLAY)
[JJ is on the right side of a fenced-in Junkyard. Enemy RAMS, full body robots hunting JJ, are on the left of the locked side of the fence.]
RAM
This is your final warning. Do not try to flee.
[JJ is offscreen until the PLAYER moves the joystick]
There are RAM FLYs in the background that do not see JJ as a result of the SHACK that gives cover
[UI gives the player instructions on how to move]
As soon as JJ gets close to a ledge leading down a short hill she speaks
JJ
I gotta find KAI.
[Stealth Section - The RAM'S searchlight is turned away until JJ gets closer. The RAM looks to the foreground in front of JJ then turns after a small amount of time. Player has to stop until RAM turns away]
[RAM FLYs are all over the junkyard in the background with a bright searchlight headed all directions]
[When Santiago speaks, he is off screen (O.S) on a radio com throughout the entire script]
SANTIAGO
Hunt it down. It can not hide forever.
[If player dies 3 times]:
JJ
I can't let these drones see me.
SANTIAGO
(Calmly)
What the hell is the point of having all these damn robots if they can not find one KAI unit?
(beat)
(Angrily)
It's over 6 feet and it's a KAI unit!
JJ continues throughout the stealth section silently until the end
JJ
That was too close.
EXT. JUNKYARD - 7:20PM
After stealth section, JJ runs a little further and sees KAI
JJ
(As soon as Kai is onscreen to the right)
KAI!
[Player cannot move KAI for a short amount of time]
JJ
(Closer to Kai)
We need to go the RAMS breaking in.
KAI
Yes I know, they damaged my core processor.
JJ
I can quickly repair you but then we need to go.
[Possible UI tutorialization on using health]
KAI
Wait. I found this.
JJ
My gun.
KAI
Yes.
(beat)
Now you may lead the way.
[Player can now control both KAI and JJ]
SANTIAGO
I need that core. Stop making excuses and find it!
KAI
Who was that?
JJ
Santiago. I hacked into his radio frequency and he's sending out more RAM's to search for you.
KAI
Santiago?
JJ
He runs the city.
[Player comes up to the Trail and KAI cannot jump.]
EXT. JUNKYARD TRAIL: 7:35PM
JJ
KAI what're doing let's go.
KAI
I can not jump.
JJ
Right. I'll try to use my gun to make a path.
[Player makes path.]
[Possible UI tutorialization on using gun]
[In the background, trees are being cut down by RAMS. There is a big fire in the middle of open area]
RAM FLY appears after moving by big fire
JJ
KAI watch out!
[If player is stuck on how to defeat fly RAM]:
KAI
I can't reach the RAM, use your gun to bring it down.
[UI shows how to block RAM attack]
A few more RAMS appear after and say there lines as they appear, not every RAM speaks. It's about 1 in 3.
RAM
Hold it.
RAM
Stop right there.
RAM
(bomb)
Threat detected.
EXT. JUNKYARD GATE: 7:50PM
After defeating last Trail enemy
KAI
JJ where are you going? Traversing forward will lead out of the Junkyard.
JJ
Hiding out in the city might be our best bet until they leave.
KAI
I do not believe that would be a good idea.
JJ
Do you have a better idea?
[Player jumps over gate]
JJ
Alright, where's the electrical box?
[If the player takes too long to find the box, KAI gives a hint]:
KAI
JJ, try jumping up and zap the box with your gun.
KAI goes through the gate and Santiago appears on the coms simultaneously
SANTIAGO
There you are. The KAI is with a girl by the Windrich checkpoint.
[Second traversal for gate]
JJ
KAI I need your help. Can you hit the switch by the gate when I zap the box?
[If player is stuck]
JJ
KAI we have to hit the breaker box at the same time.
JJ and KAI exit the second gate and head into the lower city
CITY STREETS LOWER:
EXT. CITY STREETS LOWER: INTRO - 8PM
[The Announcer PSA will run in the background about every 20-30 seconds. It starts off low volume, like background white noise, then gradually grows. It is loudest, yet still in the background, at the HIDEAWAY setting, then starts to gradually lower in volume going forward. It may start after certain points of dialogue to prevent overlap.]
ANNOUNCER PSA
Attention. Mandatory curfew is now in full effect from now until 6am. Please remain inside your homes and use energy sparingly in order to conserve power. Your cooperation and compliance is greatly appreciated. Maintain order to help us help you.
EXT. CITY STREETS LOWER: VISUAL TARGET - 8PM
ANNOUNCER PSA
(main sound heard in background)
If player is caught in light, RAM comes forward and speaks once
RAM
You are in violation of curfew.
EXT. CITY STREETS LOWER: JERRY - 8:15PM
ANNOUNCER
Please step forward and wait for assistance.
[KAI punches the wall and activates Jerry laser]
KAI
JJ watch Out!
ANNOUNCER
Please stand still and wait patiently.
KAI
We need to keep moving.
[If the Player takes too long]
JJ
You need to punch it while I shoot the box.
EXT. CITY STREETS LOWER: POST JERRY - 8:25PM
JJ
(relieved)
We made it.
KAI
Barely.
EXT. CITY STREETS LOWER: HIDEAWAY (POST JERRY) - 8:30PM
SANTIAGO
You think you can stay one step ahead because you stole the RAMs coms? Listen kid, I'll be reasonable. You turn over the KAI and I'll let you go. I'll even forgive you being out past curfew.
Second enemy RAM appears
RAM
Stop!
[Halfway to pit triggers Santiago's line]
SANTIAGO
I see you are going to think about it. Go ahead, I have all night.
ANNOUNCER
But sir, we need it urgently. We barely have enough power for
SANTIAGO
(sharp)
Shut it.
EXT. CITY STREETS LOWER: PIT - 8:35PM
[If player is stuck]
KAI
It's too high for me to reach.
JJ and KAI are near a small alleyway before getting to the stealth section
RAM
Target acquired.
[After defeating RAM, closer to alleyway]
JJ
Stay out of the light.
EXT. CITY STREETS LOWER: STEALTH - 8:40PM
JJ and KAI enter stealth section with pressure plates
[If player, as KAI, steps into the light]
JJ
KAI I told you to stay out of the light!
RAM
Hand over the KAI.
INT. CITY STREETS LOWER: FACTORY - 8:45PM
KAI
This factory is still in operation.
JJ
I never went this far, I guess it's been repurposed for spare parts.
[Enemy shows up towards middle of Factory]
JJ
Watch out!
[When JJ and KAI get pass enemy and head towards 3 thomps]
KAI
Careful!
[Enemy shows up towards end of Factory]
RAM
Halt!
Santiago speaks at the end of factory - interior as player walks outside
SANTIAGO
Jean Jones.
(beat)
This is Jean Jones isn't it? I have eyes and ears everywhere kid.
(beat)
Honestly I'm impressed you kept that machine running for this long.
CITY STREETS UPPER:
EXT. CITY STREETS UPPER - POST FACTORY 9PM
As PLAYER walks forward Santiago's line runs before the second elevator traversal
SANTIAGO
I want every blimp in the air searching.
ANNOUNCER
But sir, that will utilize the energy we need.
SANTIAGO
I said... get a blimp... in the air.
ANNOUNCER
(defeated)
Yes sir.
SANTIAGO
Do not let them disappear again.
Before first drop
KAI
JJ we should head back. We have already faced a lot of opposition on our current path.
JJ
Just a little further.
SANTIAGO
(calm authoritative)
I need that KAI unit. The city's energy core is dying. If it dies so does everyone in the city.
Ranged RAM appears after elevator
RAM
Drop your weapon.
EXT. CITY STREETS UPPER - BLIMP - 9:45PM
JJ and KAI get to the top of the building
Blimp starts to appear
SANTIAGO
You should have taken the deal.
[Halfway through Blimp traversal]
SANTIAGO
You know I would've preferred to have the KAI running but it's core processor will still work even if the shell is destroyed!
EXT. CITY STREETS UPPER - POST BLIMP PRE TRAIN - 9:55PM
Santiago yells in frustration as JJ and KAI escape to the TRAIN
SANTIAGO
You cannot run forever!
I am trying to save the city!
CITY STREETS TRAIN:
EXT. TRAIN - 10PM
Santiago has the blimp chasing after JJ and KAI, at some point after shooting rockets at the train cars he drops down RAMS to attack
RAM
Ready to deploy.
SANTIAGO
I want that train car obliterated!
After a few rockets are thrown, the player can throw them back and aim it at the blimp
JJ
Kai I'll hold the missile you hit it.
[If player takes too long]
KAI
JJ, hold this missile so I can punch it.
Santiago is yelling and taunting throughout all the train cars.
RAMs towards the end
RAM
Eliminating target.
Santiago Barks are the most needed, but JJ and KAI barks can be added as well if it fits the action
(Small triggered dialogues in relation to actions from the main characters and the player)
SANTIAGO
No!
Stop them!
End of the line!
You will regret this.

End game on a cliffhanger. When JJ is able to blow up the Blimp possibly have it explode (or whatever effect is possible) then end the game unsure if JJ and KAI get to safety
